The Expresso Among Pipes

The Quixx 8 by Vauen is a modern pipe made of briar wood with a particularly small filling volume. This makes it ideal for in-between smoking, is very handy and therefore easy to transport.

The sandblasted, wooden body is easy to put together with the acrylic mouthpiece. Changing the filter and cleaning the pipe is therefore particularly user-friendly.
A 9 mm activated carbon filter is already included in delivery.

Why are pipes made of briar?
Pipes can and have been made out of almost any material that can withstand heat, however most quality pipes available are made out of briar (Erica Arborea). Briar is prized because it is has a dense grain that can stand up to the heat of use and also helps provide a cool, dry smoke.
